Anooshree Sengupta is currently a senior at The Harker School and is a Co-Curator of the TEDxHarkerSchool team. Outside of TEDx, she competes in robotics and is the lead programmer on her internationally award-winning VRC team. She is also a passionate researcher, and she directs a program for the San José Library system teaching free Lego Robotics Classes. In addition to TEDx, she serves as the VP of WiSTEM and competes in USACO. Outside her STEM activities, she serves on the San José Youth Commission, and likes to hike, travel, and bake.
Kaitlin Hsu is a senior at The Harker School in San Jose. Apart from serving as the Co-Curator of TEDxHarkerSchool, Kaitlin is the Editor-in-Chief of Harker's student-run newspaper and magazine, Winged Post and Wingspan, respectively. She is also the President of National Honor Society and Japanese National Honor Society. In her free time, Kaitlin volunteers as a counselor at Kara, a grief organization, codes generative art and plays the piano.
Dolan Dworak is a senior and coincidently, the coolest officer. An avid 2k basketball player, his lifetime accomplishments include obliterating Mr. Glass in video games. Claiming he would make himself DECA CEO if he was Mr. Glass for a day, Dolan is valued for his sense of humor. If he were to be an inanimate object, he would want to be the wheel on the Mars Rover, so he could ruin a multi-billion dollar project by falling off.
Shania Wang is currently a junior at The Harker School in San Jose and the Marketing Associate for TEDxHarkerSchool. Outgoing and friendly, she enjoys meeting new people. Aside from TEDx, other positions she holds include DECA VP of Public Relations, Student Council Treasurer, and WiSTEM Publicity Officer. Shania is also a team manager for varsity basketball and a member of National Honor Society. Outside of school, she enjoys STEM research and discovering new music and places to eat.
Ronit is a sophomore at The Harker School. He is hardworking, motivated, committed, and passionate. He has enhanced Harker with many accomplishments and is proud to serve as Marketing Associate for TEDxHarkerSchool, among other positions such as Director of Finance for Harker School DECA, Founder of Red Cross Youth Business Leadership Program, and VP of Finance for Harker UNICEF. His interests are in both business and entrepreneurship and computer science, and he is taking courses to further his understanding of both areas.
Neelesh is a senior at the Harker Upper School and the Director of Operations for TEDx. Neelesh is VP of the Research Club and is active in science research, most recently as a lab intern at UC Berkeley Bioengineering the past two summers. His passion is in the field of physics, which led him to join Harker’s United States Invitational Young Physicists Team (USIYPT), for which he is now the President. Neelesh teaches at the California Tamil Academy, volunteering as a graduate-student teacher to spread the culture of his native language to younger children. When not pursuing these interests, he watches Netflix and spends time with his younger brother.
Going into his junior year at The Harker School in San Jose, Keval is a vital member of the Operations Team for TEDx Harker School. Keval has also enjoyed and took part in the Synopsis and Google Science Fair. In his 3 years of competing at this fair, his projects corroborate his interest in the medical as well as engineering field. Besides TEDx, tennis and surfing are two activities which Keval takes pleasure in. Both help him relieve stress from school and relax. However, if he does not have enough time to go to the courts or the water, he likes to play his guitar. For him, listening to each one of the six strings resonate helps him regain his strength.
Taylor is a junior at The Harker School in San Jose and a member of the Operations team. Besides TEDx, some of her other interests include Future Problem Solvers and speech. She is the president elect of the Future Problem Solvers club, a captain of the speech team, a member of National Honor Society, and part of the Honor Council at the upper school. During the spring, she can be found playing on the school softball team, and in the summer and fall, she participates in a competitive, travelling team. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, reading, and playing with her pet chinchilla and dog.
Nicole is a junior at the Harker School in San Jose and the Director of Public Relations for TEDxHarkerSchool. Aside from TEDxHarkerSchool, she is the executive features editor for Harker’s online student-run publication, Harker Aquila. Nicole is also an officer of Harker's Economics club and the secretary of Japanese National Honor Society.
Aditi Ghalsasi is currently a sophomore at The Harker School and is the Assistant Director on the Public Relations team. At school, she is passionate about research and business, as an officer on the CareerConnect team and an active researcher at the lab. Outside of school, she is a pianist, performing at competitions and senior homes, and competes on the U.S. AAU national team for karate. Some of her other interests include drawing, listening to music, and traveling.
Bryan Wang is a sophomore at The Harker School in San Jose and a member of the PR team. Aside from TEDx, Bryan pursues interests in business, music, and tennis. Thus, he actively competes in DECA, Model UN, and local hackathons. In addition to being VP of Events in Harker's Tri-M Honor Society Club and lead alto in Lab Band, Bryan cofounded and leads his 4-man jazz combo, The Jazz Factor. During the spring, Bryan plays for Harker Varsity Tennis. In his free time, Bryan enjoys volunteering musically and watching movies.
Sunny Jayam has extensive experience in technical theater and event software. He has been a part of the Tedx team for the past 2 years and been a part of the technical theater community since 5th grade. He also has experience with both the IT staff and the Technical theater staff at Harker making the event setup much smoother.
Mr. Acheatel is a business and entrepreneurship teacher at The Harker School where he teaches business courses and advises extracurricular programs including TEDX Harker School, Harker DECA, Harker Incubator, CareerConnect, Harker Podcast Network, and BEcon. Prior to joining Harker, he worked as the President of The Startup Garage where he helped over 150 startups launch and/or raise capital in a wide range of industries with a focus on web/mobile tech and consumer products. He earned an international MBA from Tel Aviv University, Israel’s top business school, and a B.A. in Global Economics & Latin American Students from UC Santa Cruz.
